What I liked

On platforms that combine both, I’ve noticed fewer “questionable moments” in terms of odds changes or weird bet cancellations. One of the sites I looked into recently was bet with tether since they show each roll outcome with a hash you can verify afterward. It doesn’t magically guarantee they’ll behave perfectly, but at least you can audit the results instead of just trusting their word.

What I didn't like

Compared to older sportsbooks I tried years ago, where you had no idea how outcomes were generated, having that kind of visibility genuinely helped me relax and focus on the actual bets. Still, I wouldn’t skip checking the license info altogether; I just treat it as one piece of the whole reliability puzzle.

My overall impression

From my experience, licensing matters mostly when something goes wrong, because that’s the moment you realise whether the site has any real accountability behind it. The transparent stuff—like provably fair hashes you can check yourself—is more useful day-to-day.
