My overall impression
At the center of a cast full of characters which you can’t help but love, Brad Bottoms (no he doesn’t!) and Brittany Bones are the ultimate high school sweethearts…or are they?? The show plays off many common tropes of its genres in a hilariously satirical way and with a queer twist, resulting in the unexpected and yet satisfyingly deep themes of introspection and self-acceptance. In the end, all it takes for the perfect couple to come to terms with their own identities is a Spooky Book, a Spooky Woods, and a few brutally murdered and dismembered classmates. This show had me practically falling out of my seat laughing. I truly can’t praise it enough!
