What I liked

I liked the fact there were less props, less transitonary scenes and really a soul focus on the characters in the room. Even without reading the teleprompter you could feel the emotion and conviction from everyone. Wonderful acting, wonderful dancing and a fantastic story! I interpreted the dancing and ropes as the main characters deepest emotional and subconscious state, which really pushed her forward beyond one dimension and allowed you to interpret her as you wish – a women with suppressed trauma, a dark twisted person, or perhaps just bonkers.

What I didn't like

It’s extremely minor – but maybe a teleprompter for the other side too. And higher up (it was easy to get blocked by patrons heads – unknowingly)

My overall impression

I was honestly moved by the amount of raw emotion and wonderful acting that took place. There weren’t many side characters or props and most of the scenes were exchanges (which made it feel you were in the room with them). Sadie did a fantastic job of portraying a very complex character. You didn’t know whether or not she was innocent, calculated or if she was simply unhinged. The policeman was also very good at creating tension and dialogue between the two, slowly unearthing her. Also the interviewer was a great character for balance between language transitions with semi comical relief.
