What I liked

I liked that the show was mostly in Mandarin and didn’t adapt itself to a general American audience. It made the experience far more authentic and meaningful. The actors all did an incredible job. I also liked that there was no happy ending since realistically, there is no good ending to this story.

What I didn't like

There were a couple technical issues with the English translator. Occasionally the translation didn’t show up at all, lagged, or the prompt was too large for the screen and got cut off.

My overall impression

A show about the circumstances that led a woman to end her husband’s life. It was very intense and thought provoking.
