What I liked
the leads portrayed the characters very well, and i liked the unique storytelling and intro of the dancers as ‘ghosts’ that the lead could eventually see. i enjoyed seeing the show fluctuate between English and Mandarin in real time!
What I didn't like
I thought the screen could be placed better or that it could be informed to the audience better on where to sit depending on language needs as the subtitles were far away from certain seat areas- this made it difficult to see the stage performance and subtitles (when needed) in real time.
My overall impression
It was great to see a multilingual show in real time – and addressing domestic violence issues based off of a true story. Tying Medea and the dancers in. The actors were talented- and it was bringing up many important themes!
