What I liked
In a lesser show, the technical gimmickry of the show could be a hindrance, but it’s used so effectively and meshes with the concept of the show so well, it makes everything even more fun. The delight that rippled through the crowd every time a new “animal” was chosen, appeared on screen, and got into their role was such a thrill.
What I didn't like
It’s honestly hard to think of ways this could be made better – it’s already an incredibly well crafted piece.
My overall impression
Mark has created a show that is both hilarious and original, a true one of a kind live experience. The conceit of being streamed lived to YouTube puts Mark’s exceptional comedic work on the big screen and makes it feel fresh while still engaging with the live audience in a way that feels positively vaudevillian in the best possible way. It’s classic theatrical fun that would appeal to any fan of live comedic performance.
