What I liked
Everything. I mean that, but especially the inventive use of technology in the space. I don’t want to give it away, but it’s brilliantly additive while remaining solidly a stage show. Sometimes video added to a show can be distracting, but it works beautifully here.
What I didn't like
Nothing. This show is ready for larger theaters and a larger audience. Go, go, GO Mark!
My overall impression
In a festival filled with incredible shows (something special is happening this year), this is a major stand out. OUT THERE is pure comedy genius with a heart. Mark brilliantly creates a wilderness inside a black box theater with incredible imagination AND technology, and the audience is happy to join him on this ride. A very playful show, you can tell from the second Mark enters the theater he’s having fun, which allows the audience to go on a remarkable journey with him. Truly, one of the must not miss shows at this Fringe. Bravo, Mark!
