What I liked
The use of tech is ambitious and fresh. The audience participation is wild, silly, and never at the expense of the audience having a good time. Mark is effortlessly charming and charismatic, bringing the entire house from rolling laughter to sadness and introspection in the blink of an eye.
What I didn't like
Maybe try experimenting with 2.4G vs 5G WiFi bands to see which works better for your tech and the size of the theater. 2.4G gets slower speeds but has a wider range. 5G has a smaller range but faster speeds. Oops I didn’t know this part would actually show up if you click “Read Full Review”.
My overall impression
Out There is an absolute triumph of a one-man show. Perhaps Mark’s best work yet, even compared to his shows the past 2 years which both won awards at Fringe. This chaotic and captivating journey pushes the boundaries of what one person should be able to achieve in an hour and leaves you with the feeling that you’ve just experienced something truly original with a dash of real magic.
