Absolutely blown away by everything about this show. The creative storytelling, the hilarious (and safe!) audience participation, Mark’s quick wit and ability to not just engage everyone, but to weave every twist and turn together in a way that felt so special and moving. Mark makes every moment feel so effortless, emotional, and fun, it makes you forget how complex the use of tech is that is happening right in front of your eyes. MAGIC! Anyone who is or has loved an artist (all of us) will find beautiful meaning in this show. ...

So much fun!!! Mark is such a skilled performer and tragic clown. You will absolutely fall in love with (or at the very least laugh at) Larry, the character Mark has crafted for this piece. Be ready to participate!...

A slice of YouTube, right here at the Hollywood Fringe! Hilarious but not without heart, Out There had me rolling, whether it was hunting moose or a run in with a wild bear. This also feels like a show to try and see multiple times, as you never know what might change the second time around. ...

You are the water. You are the trees. You are the fish and the birds and the insects and animals of the Alaskan wilderness.
This is not just some Zen wisdom, although I suppose it could be. Of course, in these times, a solo adventure is meaningless unless you livestream it. The audience is all part of Larry's livestream for views and likes, as he moves around the theater with his camera, creating real time video of his adventure going horribly wrong. Images are projected on the screen for all the a...

Commitment and inventiveness, and generosity. I was deeply impressed, delighted, and laughing the whole time. A beautifully heartbreaking story when you think about it but portrayed in such a way where we laughed along at every devastating mishap, buoyed by Mark's unfettered sense of hope and determination. That's part of what he does so well in this show — forging forward despite his dreams crumbling around him. It's so funny. It's so good. I am excited to see it again. ...

Lovable and silly, Mark is the manifestation of letting the inner child play and have fun. Mark flexes the boundary of creativity, "simulating" a survival influencer like that one episode of "The Office" where Michael tries to survive in the wilderness but cranked to 100. This is a break from the mundane of ordinary life as Mark really takes you out there....
