Jessica Bashline is vibrant and welcoming in her solo show about body autonomy and women's rights. The Big Bad Abortion Play is informative, personal, and universal all at once. Jessica's energy is dynamic throughout the 70-minute run; it's clear that she is passionate about her subject matter and by the end (if it wasn't already) it'll be clear why we ALL must be passionate about it as well....

Jessica is a social justice warrior! I knew a lot of the things she was talking about but I also learned so much. I was unfamiliar with Ann Lohman but now, like Jessica, I am hooked on learning more! Words cannot describe how powerful, important and well done this piece is. I am grateful I saw it because I left the theater not only entertained but armed with new knowledge and a sense of community.
Though the audience I saw the show with was small, they were fabulous! It does make me sad that more people were not there to hear this very important and relevant piece of theater. Go check out the show!...
