What I liked

There is something about Jessica Bashline that just makes me want to hug her. She radiates warmth, kindness, and a ferocity about her cause. This is a woman we want as our champion. Her talent shines in this piece.

What I didn't like

The only thing I can thing that needs improvement IS UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO SAFE AND SIMPLE ABORTIONS.

My overall impression

Jessica Bashline is vibrant and welcoming in her solo show about body autonomy and women’s rights. The Big Bad Abortion Play is informative, personal, and universal all at once. Jessica’s energy is dynamic throughout the 70-minute run; it’s clear that she is passionate about her subject matter and by the end (if it wasn’t already) it’ll be clear why we ALL must be passionate about it as well.
