What I liked
Like the weaving together of the present and the past. The parallels were so real it was chilling. Characters were likeable, allowing for honest but challenging exchange of ideas and emotion. Conductor was great addition.
What I didn't like
There was something about the bathroom sequence that didn’t quite work for me, but I am at a loss to identify exactly what.
My overall impression
The play is a poignant reflection on the current state of our country. It looks at our polarization and marginalization of minority groups through a historical lens.
