What I liked
Bratschie is such a patient performer. So rare to see someone really trust and hold an audience with such tender care – only to make us laugh harder than ever. What I adored most about the show was how it used the clowning form to explore identity so vividly.
What I didn't like
Nothing you fools!!!
My overall impression
At once a case-study in precise clowning and a gorgeous revelation of the people inside us that we keep tucked away, Todd Macabre is, in other words, a beautiful marriage of form and content. One of this festival’s best shows by a country mile.
