What I liked
I loved being pulled into the story. I had stakes. Breaking the 4th wall and inviting the audience in is thrilling.
What I didn't like
We wanted to hear more about the brothers Brodd Macabre and Drodd Macabre, alas there wasn’t time. Maybe this becomes a serial piece and the next chapter is in 2026!
My overall impression
This was such a rollicking crowd pleaser with a very surprising personality twist at the end that I’m still thinking about today. Without any real.prompting the audience started to sound out the spooky woods atmosphere. and the sense of enjoyment we got from being creaky doors and elevator music was next level. Wonderfully emersive. Very much in the New Clown realm where audience participation just raises the joy. The surprise personal twist at the end, left me feeling happy and heard. It’s a beautiful surprisingly thoughtful fun show. Go!
