Benjamin Schwartz’ words are a deep exploration, graceful evasion and an inescapable acceptance of the unavoidable human drama within relationships. Natalie Dressel lead the actors in a way to live in the reality of story while playing with levity – leaving the audience to naturally bounce between laughing out loud and holding our collective breath.
What I didn't like
There are lighting cues that I’m unsure help the story forward – felt to me like a ‘gimmick’ to engage and already keyed in audience.
My overall impression
The simple staging highlights hard-hitting real life relationship drama and allows Callie and Spencer to shine!
