I really laughed my ass off! And cried! It was so earnest, and beautifully cartoonish, and self aware. The costumes were both hilarious and stunning and the show takes you on such a ride of Mia's personal journey with gut illness, breakups, and creativity itself. The music was all super sweet and catchy (stuck in my head right now!) and I was so surprised by all the cool choreography. Nick as the worm was an absolute riot. The show was sprinkled with clown elements that were really satisfying. A show about coming into ones own as an artist and how our biggest setbacks are also are best friends. LOVED IT. ... full review

This small musical left a huge impression on my soul and reminded me that art is alive and thriving. It packed a metaphorical punch to the gut with its relatable story and hilarious writing as I think we can all remember a time that we had a parasitic lover. Every moment of this incredibly intimate show was memorable, from the personification of sound to the puppetry and everything in between. It really was a coming together of so many art forms that the very definition of community exuded from every fiber of its being. Squirm breaths and lives on its own, and I truly hope that it has another cycle or even tours for the world to see it in all of it’s squirmy glory. ... full review

I absolutely loved this play. It transported me straight back to my days growing up in children’s theater, rekindling that early love for campy, cult classics like Rocky Horror and Little Shop of Horrors. The show struck a beautiful balance between absurdity and vulnerability, and I found myself completely immersed from start to finish.... full review

“SQUIRM” is a singular, gutsy ride—equal parts hilarious, tender, and surreal. It’s rare to see a piece tackle chronic illness and identity with such humor and originality. The result is a deeply personal, wonderfully weird journey.... full review

Funny, gross, real, surreal, wholly original, and exactly what fringe is all about! I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing Mia develop this show, and it was just so gratifying to finally see it staged and really come to life! This is a fully realized show and Mia is a true and fearless artist! Do your bowels a favor and SEE THIS SHOW! ... full review
