The acting, commitment, flow. It felt balanced and well planned out while simultaneously having elements of spontaneity. Very well done! I loved the ending too, one of the most unique endings I’ve seen in a play. I love that the audience could be involved and didn’t have to abruptly say goodbye to this immersive experience! A one woman show is no small feat, brava!
What I didn't like
I would love to see more moments of dancing/videos on the screen going on simultaneously. That was so beautiful and emotional and raw and I’d love to see more incorporated in a future run!
My overall impression
I loved the commitment from Effie! I could tell this was personal and it was very well orchestrated. The range of emotions were felt and expressed using so many mediums of art (song, dance, film, etc). I loved the song parodies and I loved the dancing. I got teary-eyed because I felt how raw it was.
