St. Meryl. The accents. The stage curtain bit.

Less laptop.

My overall impression

Effie is a natural comedienne! She gives us the all-too-relatable inner AND outer monologue of a quintessential actress, grounded in truth and authenticity. The truth ain’t always pretty, but is there really anything more beautiful than when someone lets themselves be fully seen? Effie effortlessly commands the stage and her physical comedy reminds me a lot of Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Thank you for such a fun show that also gave me chills at how relatable it was!
