This is a fantastic solo show, held together by Lani’s warmth and charisma and Laurie Magers’ steady direction. Lani is impossible not to like! She fills the room with her presence, eye contact, and infectious smile. Her audience interactions are light and playful, and the whole thing just floats along, which is impressive given the dark subject matter. I don’t like Tarantino movies and wasn’t familiar with a few of her selections, but I was still totally captivated and sold on her characterization throughout.

My overall impression
Lani Harms is a tour-de-force performer, embodying several different characters with ease and confidence. A wonderful comedic feminist exploration of a problematic film oeuvre.
