What I liked
I loved the multi-media aspect and the use of video. The moments where we slip into the void were a brilliant way to reset what we’re seeing play out on stage. I especially loved the Waitress character scene and dialogue as it was such an obscure and original exploration of an otherwise completely passive and ancillary character in the actual movie it was referencing. Felt really fun to see her pull out an entirely made up narrative and really take to it a wild degree, and then then comedy of the tip discovery at the end was so funny and the perfect button.
What I didn't like
If anything maybe just exploring more characters that have no Tarantino-written plot whatsoever and putting your original spin on it, but honestly the show as a whole was great I wouldn’t change much!
My overall impression
Super fun and original twist on the Tarantino universe! Lani moves seamlessly from one giant character to the next and engages the audience in hilarious ways. Incredible show!!!
