What I liked
Lani is a phenomenal actress. Every time she steps on stage in a new wig, she completely embodies the character and drops in. Rather than completely doing an impression, Lani adds her own spin and breathes new life into these iconic cinematic characters. She’s funny, scary, dramatic, and very compelling. A must see at this years fringe.

My overall impression
An exciting journey exploring the tropes of the female characters in Quentin Tarantino’s expansive cinematic universe. Lani takes us on a wildly entertaining ride though her own adaptation of some of Tarantino’s most iconic characters, even Mikey Madison’s cameo in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood(one of my favorite parts of the show, sit in the front row if you want to be in the splash zone). This is an extremely fun show that is action packed throughout and sits at a perfect 30 minutes.
“Reservoir Dolls” rewrites the narrative and makes an incredibly interesting commentary on the through line of all these iconic fem-fatales… An unrealistic stoical nature and overtly male catered sensuality in the face of danger and violence as seen through the male gaze.
