Davonna Dehay, who plays the character of Delores, is on fire for 45 minutes. It is impossible to look away from her. Her layers of pain penetrate the viewer’s soul and when you think she can’t dig any deeper into her character’s damaged psyche, she finds paths to an even darker and more terrifying depths of Delore’s mind. What a performance. Don’t miss it.
What I didn't like
Nothing. Even the sofa pillows and the Campbell soup cans atop the refrigerator and the tools that hang from the walls bring an uber reality to this shockingly good production.
My overall impression
45 hold your breath minutes of intense drama. Superb acting and flawless directing on a set that felt like an important character.
