What I liked

As a domestic abuse survivor many aspects of the show resonated with me, especially the way that Dehay injected humor into her performance. She infuses Dolores with a complexity that avoids cliché and instead paints a fully realized woman wrestling with the aftermath of abuse, the longing for connection, and the fragile hope for safety. Woche’s timing, emotional layering, and command of silence speak volumes—sometimes more than the dialogue itself. The set design was impeccably 1980s and the musical choices really helped set the scene. Both actors mastered their physical acting and blocking, making the room feel intimate, cramped, and cold, which I believe was the intention.

What I didn't like

No notes, the play stuck with me for days.

My overall impression

Amazing chemistry between the two actors. The show was gripping and raw, a blistering reminder of the violence that too many women endure, and the resilience that can still rise from its wreckage.
