About the Project
LA E$trELLA tells the touching and inspiring true story of Elektra Estrella’s discovery to her true self as a proud Transgender Latina Woman, as she answers her calling to being a performer, dancer, and singer. Facing many obstacles like mental health, emotional abuse, and inner identity we see her growth and fire ignite. She realizes that even as a little boy she could not hide her femininity, and that it was actually her super power all along.
