What I liked
Having a play completely in Spanish was refreshing. Although, you didn’t need to know Spanish to understand the significance of the story. My mother grew up in Morazan, and she was brought to tears. We hear these stories from our families growing up during the war but it is rarely given a space like this. This story is important, thank you for sharing it.

My overall impression
A beautiful story about the roots of El Salvador. It was filled with culture, tradition, and history.
The timeline of their lives leading up to the start of the war was so powerful. The actresses depicted the reality of what people endured during the Salvadorian civil war with incredible emotion.
