I really enjoyed how Emily made such a silly idea so touching, heartfelt and true. I was engaged for the whole show, as her character traveled from Antarctica to NYC and back again. The performer found nuance and discovery with her audience and even scenes of transition felt captivating. I’m in awe of her talent and story-telling ability with very little actual spoken word.
What I didn't like
Where is Slürt now? What does she do with all of these lessons learned from her time in New York. I’m happy her heard is no longer broken. Is her next step more about self-love? What about her parents? Will she ever find them?
My overall impression
Spectacular, entrancing, honest and silly. Emily’s zest injects life into her kooky and lovable character.
