Emily Maverick is a fairy godmother genius from another world, we all know it and we are all lucky to be in her orbit. This show is so joyful, so absurd, and has so much dynamic range and play... it all flows so effortlessly and is infectious. How someone from Antarctica can warm our hearts I'll never know... she is so present with the audience, and it is so easy to go along for the ride because she includes you every step of the way. This show was absolutely brilliant. The gibberish language Slürt speaks is so masterful, it sounds like a real language, although most words cannot be clearly recognized. The few understandable words act as a hilarious punchline. As Slürt leaves Antarctica and makes her way to New York City, we see her learning new words, and the joys and heartbreak of human connection.... full review
