DOLL PLAY

What I liked

So fun to have mother/daughter issues unpacked through dolls and cardboard backgrounds with the “puppetmaster” holding them with satin gloved hands. I love the best friends whether true or an illusion. The elevator music kills. The first mother is hilarious. The Ronald Regan musuem is hilarious. Audience was having a good time.

What I didn't like

I didn’t get that there was going to be two parts and the second part was the other girls mother story until a little bit in…then it was like duh how did I miss that?? So maybe a more obvious transition card? In both stories I would cut off some time.

My overall impression

So creative. So fun. So adorable. And meanginful and painful in that fun way…Loved the set up.
