What I liked
I didn’t know anything about this story, so it was all very interesting. It was fascinating to see how different attitudes were back in the days that Jacob is describing. Jacob is a great performer and he puts in an excellent excellent performance in the show.
What I didn't like
There were so many facts and so much information that it felt a little bit like a history day project. I think Jacob is so well-versed in the information that it is easy to forget that the audience really isn’t so I’m not sure how to solve that problem but that was the one issue I had with the show.
My overall impression
A super deep dive on a really fascinating piece of history. With different perspectives that you probably won’t read about in history book. Really engaging and a lot of cool audience participation.
