What a beauty. This was such a moving, emotional story that was right in my wheelhouse. Greg is such a compelling writer, and is able to unpack so much and weave in so many seemingly disparate threads (postmodern italian literature, identity, indoctrination, international crises, family crises, perfectionism around the creative process...) into a singular personal story with an emotional undercurrent that we all can relate to. It left me feeling very reflective and grateful for my life, and looking for ways I could let go of the things that no longer serve me and examine other areas where I could be more of service to a greater whole. Just wild. ... full review

A mix of the cerebral and visceral. The best of both worlds. Gregory has crafted something moving and impactful with ease and grace. Really skilled storytelling. ... full review

This show is incredibly self-aware, smart, illustrative, thought-provoking, and inspiring. Relevant and personal, QFWFQ maintains the perfect balance between cosmic humor, vulnerability, and seriousness that allows it to cut deep into the viewer's psyche - the questions it poses and ponders are important, and the stories it tells are profound, yet all are left in the air between the stage and the theater chairs in an experience one can only really derive a single question from: what did I just experience? Or perhaps you find yourself with another question: what do I do with myself after being so deeply moved by this experience? ... full review

When you first meet Greg and he explains - rather, tries to explain what QFWFQ is, you won't get it. What? Huh? No description will ever do this show any justice. You have to watch this show to understand it, there's no other way. And then you watch it, you experience it and bask in its brilliance! And wow, Greg's performance is mesmerizing. You could watch this character for hours. You will go through the wildest rollercoaster ride and you'll have fun. You admire the concise and clever writing and the impeccable performance. The show is delivered in a neat (and messy) little box, that when unravelled, reveals a memoir that is equally tragic and enlightening. You tell everyone to go see this show and then you head to the library for a copy... full review

QFWFQ is captivating tour de force. With razor sharp writing that blew me away. It made me want to read the book and see which parts are Calvino and which parts are Nussen. And then read the italian version just to make sure. Nussen is a phenom to both have written and perform this expertly. ... full review

This is exactly what I'm looking for in a piece of theatre, Fringe or no. What an absolute gem. Greg has written an intensely personal show that feels universal, and is incredibly personable as a performer. The story is a real journey, as expertly crafted as it is performed, and it runs the gamut from extreme absurdism to heartbreaking reality. I cannot recommend this show highly enough. ... full review

Dammit this show is so good, I don't even know where to begin. The structure, the content, the performance, the tech - everything was working together in such a way that really let you drop into the material. Greg's accessibility to the audience from the start of the show immediately made me want to follow them wherever they were going to take us. The way they walked us through their deeply heartfelt and personal stories, then punctuated them with the absurdity made me realize that at moments I was so enrapt that I was holding my breath. It was thought provoking, gut wrenching, and truly hilarious. What a treat! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.... full review
