About the Project
After Jesus H. Christ introduces his divine father to RuPaul’s Drag Race, the Alpha and the Omega decides to change His policy on queerness, begins writing his New New Testament, and brings all righteous dead LGBTQIA people up to His holy kingdom. However, many of Heaven’s queerphobic residents take umbrage with this sudden change in divine doctrine and begin to revolt. In response to this, Jesus forms the very first heavenly order of rainbow saints: Opus Gay. Its members represent each letter of the queer alphabet and include the likes of Sappho, Leonardo DaVinci, Frida Kahlo, and Divine among others. One day, notorious homophobe Anita Bryant (who recently went tits up from an aneurism while at her trailer’s outhouse and was very upset to find God had changed His mind and made her lifelong crusade against faggotry a big old nothing burger), decides to infiltrate Opus Gay. Will our heroes be able to stop the dreaded Anita Bryant’s wicked plan to unleash a new and deadly STI into the world?
