What I liked

Despite the weight of the themes, the play never feels heavy-handed.
Instead, it’s hilariously funny—clever in a way that’s sharp and biting without ever slipping into cheesiness. The humor is intelligent, layered, and perfectly timed, making the audience laugh out loud while simultaneously nudging them to think deeper.

What I didn't like

More stage time!

My overall impression

Set against the backdrop of space travel and futuristic technology, this play is a masterclass in storytelling that is as thought-provoking as it is wildly entertaining. The premise alone is compelling, but it’s the execution—sharp, witty, and emotionally intelligent—that makes this production soar.
What struck me most was how powerfully the play challenged my own thought processes. It confronts societal norms and expectations with fearless honesty, especially around age, gender, and value. Jane’s journey is not just through space, but through the complex terrain of identity, purpose, and autonomy. I loved it so much and wish I could see it again!
