What I liked

Scottie-Jeanette Madden’s powerful script was both moving and funny (where it needed to be) and a strong voice for the strength and struggles of the trans community and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole.
Juliana Joel brought great depth to her Commander, displaying a fantastic range of emotions for all to see. Anthony Notarile’s strong work made the audience both squirm and laugh out loud where intended. His facial expressions alone kept me glued to him. And Chelsea Rendon’s voice work was priceless and hilarious.
The set was sparse but was perfect for what was needed and the use of the screen was brilliant! Quite ingenious.

What I didn't like

I just wanted a post-script to show more of Juliana’s Commander’s story… and to make sure that she gets her happy ending.

My overall impression

Wonderful show! We loved it and the cast was amazing. Great acting both by the radiant and lovely Juliana and by Anthony who has some great comedic chops! Chelsea’s work was a joy! What a great and POWERFUL script… and the set… (the screen!!).

My one regret is that I didn’t get to see a Part 2 and find out what happens with the wonderful Commander and her story.

I am so glad I got to see it and I highly recommend it!
