It took me a minute to process what was going on at the beginning, but once I did, I was hooked on that possibility of moving together in another plane or world. The acting, the directing, the humor intertwined with the heartache—it was all spot on.
What I didn't like
Nothing!
My overall impression
I love theatre because it is the best way to get off the hamster wheel of anxiety and to-dos in my head to be present and moved and/or provoked and FEEL. This show definitely did that. It was a gut punch for those of us who’ve lost our mothers and have complicated relationships with siblings. This show had me sobbing at the end.
