What I liked
The acting, writing, and directing in this was stellar. The ensemble was great at bringing some levity to a show that definitely had a lot of heavy moments. I particularly liked the musical elements and found the music to be a gorgeous thread weaving through.
What I didn't like
All I can think of is maybe more songs in the show? With such a vocally talented cast I would’ve loved more musical moments with them.
My overall impression
A beautiful, heartbreaking journey depicting the complicated dynamics between sisters and mothers/daughters. This original show is ethereal, whimsical, and thoughtful, with just a touch of humor woven throughout. The cast was absolutely brilliant and the concept of dream jumping to tell the characters’ story was really unique.
