My overall impression

Some plays can be drawn out, have very dry moments of the performance which force you to ask yourself ‘what was the point of that scene’ and worst of all you find the acting to be too much or too weak for the play. The ideal remedy for those feelings would obviously be for a magical fairy to fly out of the ceiling and hand you paper money then apologizing for wasting your time. Who wouldn’t want that, right?!

Well the performance of RODEO TOWN made me feel anything but that——

With the perfect blend of humor, powerful performances and mystery, Rodeo Town is going to catch your attention and keep it! There will be moments where you feel like you might shed a tear while listing to a beautiful monologue and seconds later you are on the edge of your seat because of how intense things became in the blink of an eye. Each actor brought their ‘A-Game’ to the stage and pulled you into their own world. Feels like you are watching the lives of four people who have already been through a lot, took this play to a whole new level. While the overall theme of the play was dark and sad, it still had it’s humor. I couldn’t help but laugh at until the very last scene. I haven’t seen a play like this before, and I doubt I ever will. If you saw a play in the past month, then you saw just that- a play. HOWEVER….If you want to see something amazing and not soon forgotten, then Rodeo Town is your best bet.
