My overall impression

“Rodeo Town” is uncomfortably satisfying. Dark but sweet. Surreal but honest. Aggressively sensual but tenderly innocent. Bowlin’s outstanding script is brought to life by the incredible performances of the ensemble of four men who truly take you to another time and place, maybe even another world (who knows what or where Rodeo Town really is…).

You’ll feel a swelling gamut of emotion that will grip your heart, paralyze your sense of wrong and right, relieve you with humor, only to leave you in awe. I’ve only experienced a twist this horrifyingly shocking in the cinema. Whatever your plans were for this weekend, change them. See this play before it’s too late.
