An insanely powerful performance with intricate parallelism in its writing regarding patriarchal power in modern society. Faith's repetitive interaction with the audience gains extra layers of emotional depth and meaning throughout the performance. The show placed me in a position that is a tad uncomfortable, in a sense that I thought the audience was placed in a voyeuristic stance. However, I find it impactful, and necessary. The show wasn't just a spectacle, but rather an immersive experience of the space Faith and Fiona have created. ...

Such a relatable story (I think for most women) of the conflicting pressures put on us by society, especially regarding how we display sexuality. And told in a very funny, charming way, despite the often traumatic nature of the tale. The humor drew us in to truly care when the story took a darker turn. Faith is lovely to watch on stage, and her vulnerability shines throughout in a way that makes us want to go on her journey with her. ...

Upon hearing the premise, I thought I knew how this show was going to play out, but Faith zigs when it looks like she's about to zag, then zigs again just to mess with you. The ending may be a foregone conclusion, but the way Faith gets you there is full of surprises, heart, and a goofiness that just won't quit....

The story may be simple, but the emotions are deep and complex. And all the while, you're laughing every ten seconds because Faith Nagel knows how to weave in a clever joke or play on words without sacrificing the integrity of the show and the woman at the heart of it....

It was – wow. So brave. I was there with our protagonist. This play was so believable, too believable. I was there with them. Afterwards, I had to go get Awan vegan ice cream to soothe myself. ...

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the show ended up exceeding all expectations. It was captivating and hysterical. Faith has a commanding presence on the stage that was enhanced by a solid script and fun audience interactions. The moments of vulnerability and sincerity helped ground this comedy and allowed the comedic beats to hit harder; Marvel execs could learn a thing or two... Overall, it was a breadth of fresh air that I highly recommend seeing....

The Other Woman is funny, vulnerable, and powerfully human. It challenges how we view and judge women in messy situations, and it does so with grace, wit, and a whole lot of heart. Faith’s performance is one of the standouts of the festival. Do yourself a favor and SEE THIS SHOW!...
