What I liked
For such a dark and sad character telling this deeply personal story, you will not stop laughing. And these aren’t comic relief jokes; each barb comes with its own emotional punch that makes you feel while you laugh. Faith is perfect as this woman, who may be young and flawed but isn’t naive. All the trappings that come from a one-person show either aren’t here or are performed so expertly that you won’t care.
What I didn't like
I wish I knew more about a couple of supporting characters and their relationships with Faith’s character, especially with how important they are in the middle and back portions of the show.
My overall impression
The story may be simple, but the emotions are deep and complex. And all the while, you’re laughing every ten seconds because Faith Nagel knows how to weave in a clever joke or play on words without sacrificing the integrity of the show and the woman at the heart of it.
