Faith Nagel is hilarious, endearing, and 100% believable through the layered range of emotions her character experiences. Excellently written and acted!
What I didn't like
There were a couple lighting and sound cue misfires during the preview, but they were minor and easily fixed. One character is simulated with VO while the rest are acted, and I’m not 100% certain as to what motivated that choice.
The title of the show may be a little misleading – and makes the single encounter in question sound more consensual than it is, and the period of time during which she is “the other woman” is a small fraction of the runtime.
My overall impression
A well-written, well-staged and excellently-acted examination of a young woman struggling to embrace independence after a break-up. Laugh-out-loud funny at times, uncomfortable and heartbreaking at others.
