What I liked
Faith Nagel has done an excellent job writing and delivering lines like “you know I can shit without you…” and “I hope she gets her pussy eaten” in a way that made ME say “damn…this is really smart stuff”. As a writer, I’m jealous that she’s able to be so funny while also being so insightful.
What I didn't like
Nothing. The show encapsulates its topic so well; I was truly impressed.
My overall impression
The Other Woman is a snappy and sincere dark-comedy that carefully balances the all too familiar line between humor and tragedy. It’s like a coming-of-age tale but more honest.
