What I liked
I mean, it’s As You Like It, it’s a great show. The cast was incredible, the comedic timing made me howl with laughter, and the staging gave me a wonderful evening of theater.
What I didn't like
Not necessarily improved but when you cut a play down to an hour, there are some sections you’re bound to leave out. There were some parts I missed, but, again, the show still worked!
My overall impression
What do you get when you combine a phenomenal cast, a great work of Shakespeare, and only give them an hour? An incredibly delightful show that had me laughing, applauding, and wanting to see more! A wonderful staging of a great piece from the Bard, I just want to say that if anyone asks if you can truly do justice to Shakespeare in an hour, this show answers it with a resounding and emphatic yes. It just works.
