The staging and incorporation of the built in set was fantastic. The costumes while simple were effective. The pace of the show kept moving and the cuts made it easily digestible for people who are afraid of full-length Shakespeare shows. The lead performance of Leigh Loureiro as Rosalind was spectacular. Her acting was incredible, she was present, grounded and she elevated the whole show. Additionally, the performances of Lucy Sartor as Celia and Casey Alcoser as Orlando knocked it out of the park.
What I didn't like
Nothing! I think it successfully did exactly what it set out to do.
My overall impression
Wow! What a great performance. It’s hard to believe a production this intricately polished came together in just three days of rehearsal. I would highly recommend this show to Shakespeare newbies and long time fans alike!
