What I liked
I loved how surprising the narrative was and how unexpected each turn that was taken was. I appreciated the ending even though it made me cry, but these days, to have an ending with real closure is so rare. Ed took a lot of big swings, and with each one, a home run. Acting, writing, song choices, casting, video productions…all of it.
What I didn't like
It was flawless. I can think of nothing that needed to be improved upon. There was a smell in the theater that wasn’t ideal, but that’s no fault of the show, I think it was the abundance of audience members.
My overall impression
Incredible performances by ALL. Standout acting, singing and band-ing. Sad tonight was the last show, I hope it wins all the awards.
