What I liked

So many aspects, but most of the all the style and genre of this piece. The comedy is obvious and in your face at times, and other times it’s as subtle as a look on an actor’s face in a glance. The writing of this show is so full of heart and is such a genuine approach to self-exploration of identity. Through and through this show is a Must-See. The tech on this show is just absolutely unreal… How did Greg manage to design an inverted light flash? Sheer Brilliance!

What I didn't like

Nothing! I really hope this continues to live past the Fringe.

My overall impression

What Happens In The Dark is a true reminder that Farce in Los Angeles is a lost art and needs to be done in this city much more than it is! While being one of the best Farces I’ve seen in years, this show and it’s writing also brings home a personal story with a lot of heart – leaving you laughing and feeling for the characters at every turn. The entire cast and crew needs to take this show for a long run and give this show a long life outside of festivals: What Happens In The Dark could be what revives the modern day theatrical Farce.
