What I didn't like
I think with some tweaks to the show especially in the last 5-10 minutes of it, it could really be a SMASH hit (I’m talking tours and much, much bigger stages). Just needs a little workshopping to land story and pacing-wise a bit stronger.
My overall impression
Listen, I’ve been a part of the HFF community for over a decade. And let me say… WOW! Just WOW. I want to see it again, on a larger stage. It deserves a tour. This is like “The Play That Goes Wrong” levels of good – it’s not just a gag of light/dark, it’s a true metaphorical exploration of what light and darkness sheds on strained relationships and the secrets we keep. It’s so flipping good! The direction, the props, the ACTING (my god, the acting?! It was incredible!), the commitment, the hilarity, the comedy, the twists, the turns… Highest recommendation. One of the best concepts, executions, directions, and performances I’ve seen at HFF!
