A brilliant concept executed masterfully. This play was absolutely hilarious and had me engaged the entire time period the actors are so beautifully choreographed and it was clear that they had immense passion for every single moment of the play, executing the nuanced movement and dialogue with absolute precision. I promise that you'll have incredible time viewing this play and I feel that it's a must see for this Fringe Festival....

What have I been missing in my life? A classic screwball comedy, with physical pratfalls, surprising twists, and fast-paced dialogue to boot. They don't make them like this anymore! A truly delightful evening at the theater. ...

A brilliant inversion of the way we usually see things, What Happens in the Dark shows us that what we really are can sometimes only be revealed when the lights go out. Also, if you're robbing a house, don't drop your backpack!...

Really well-done! Honestly the best show I've seen at Fringe Fest. The use of pantomime kept the comedic timing vibrant and engaging, and the lights on/lights off gimmick was really intriguing and well-used....

What Happens in the Dark takes a wildly creative premise and turns it into pure theatrical joy.
Kris Buxton-Dean leads the way with a bold, magnetic presence and razor-sharp comedic instincts. Lee Pollero and Hannelore Berlin are both hilarious and layered, playing off each other beautifully while unraveling their characters’ chaos. Andrew Puente was slick, funny, and grounded the show with charm. And every beat of the show was held together with the amazing direction of Casey Buxton-Dean. The whole team crushed it
I never knew stumbling around in the dark could be this funny or this smart. If you want a show that makes you laugh, think, and cheer all at once then this one’s for you....
