What I liked
Everything. The structure of the piece was well thought out. I left learning something about myself and feeling more connected with everyone in the audience.
What I didn't like
Nothing. I was scared when I read the word sermon in the show description, but that fear went away the second Chris stepped on stage.
My overall impression
Best show of the festival. Chris’s knowledge of storytelling, acting, and writing come through so clearly in his performance. He is so well-trained and well-practiced as an artist and a performer. Mine for the Tribe has you captivated right away. You will laugh, you will cry, you will genuinely feel for him and yourself. If you consider yourself an artist or have friends who are artists, you have to go see this show.
