I loved that Christopher’s show talks about mental health but specifically mental health in the art community. Spreading awareness is vital to taking the steps to hopefully letting people know they aren’t alone and to seek out actual support.
I really enjoyed seeing a man also talk about these deep, sensitive and very personal stories, especially since our society isn’t usually encouraging of men to tap into these sides of themselves.
I love he talks about the entertainment industry and how often times it doesn’t help in the area of mental health. I really enjoyed the commentary on reality TV. Also being a theater major myself, his theater teacher character was chef kiss accurate.
I believe in the power of storytelling, the connection it can bring. Seeing and going to a journey with Christopher in his show I am grateful for.
What I didn't like
Nothing comes to mind, go see his show!
My overall impression
My overall impression of the show was that it was funny, caring, intelligent, witty and intimate. I got the feeling I was like a friend having a conversation with Christopher while I watched. Christopher makes you laugh and cry as he dives into the sensitive topic of mental health.
