recently watched Magnet of Chaos (Solo Theatre · SLAZ Productions, LLC · 16+) in the United States of America and honestly didn’t expect it to hit that hard. It’s very raw and personal the kind of solo performance where you can feel the emotional tension in the room. At times uncomfortable, but in a meaningful way. If you like intimate theatre that makes you think (and maybe sit with your feelings a bit after), it’s definitely worth seeing. I love the mind of Sarah Lazarus, and it was a privilege to be led through it Gay-Gen-Z-Internet-Meme-Culture-Wizard of Oz Style. Sarah takes a universal experience we've all had: wandering through our thoughts, and frames it through an experience that will greatly resonate with anyone deep in the trenches of strange tik-tok fads. The use of projection is particularly astounding and practical, with one part blowing my mind with how creatively it was used. The writing was the perfect recipe of clever but stupid, which is the essence of good comedy. This show is full of surprises, which is reflected in its clever yet silly creator.... full review
